Every school is awash with student performance data, from summative and formative class results to NAPLAN. These can be more fully utilised to recognise student achievements and diagnose concerns.
How can data be used to improve literacy in English classes specifically?
Learn how to link data to innovative powerful practices in your classroom, to improve student reading across all ability levels. Develop the skills necessary for you and your team to engage in collaborative conversations around student data.
In this workshop participants will:
Be guided through the analysis of an exemplar set of sample student data
Explore the variety of ways to link data with literacy development in the English classroom
Involve your colleagues and team in collaborative conversations, committing to improving each child's reading development
