Griffith University, with the Department of Education, Training and Employment have developed an innovative program that has been implemented in four Logan schools which has doubled the number of students in the top 20% of state students for literacy.  Dr Kathryn Glasswell, an international expert in instructional change, is the lead researcher on this innovative program called Navigating Thinking.

Winner:  State Showcase Award for LL4LL schools

LL4LL Project is a school improvement initiative which focuses on reading comprehension for middle years students.  Six schools in the Logan area have taken part in this project. An important feature of the work they do together is a focus on an ongoing commitment to a process of reflective practice.
